The Arts Council is the place to see art, learn about art and celebrate art.
Come to a free art exhibit on opening night and you’ll meet the artists. There are six exhibits throughout the year. Stop by the Gallery to see what’s going on and while you are there, shop the Gallery Store for local art and unusual gifts.
Celebrate art in the Community at four Arts Council events. The H’Arts Benefit Art Auction in March is the largest art auction in Snohomish County. The Artists’ Garage Sale in June offers bargain-priced seconds and surplus art. Fresh Paint in August is a festival of artists creating art at the Everett Marina. Girls’ Night Out in October is a wearable art fair.
And, learn about art. The Arts Council offers community art classes for all ages. Arts Council exhibits and curriculum connect art to academics for thousands of Snohomish County school children.
The school programs, art workshops for teachers, art competitions, scholarships, and the Art Alternatives program at the Denney Juvenile Justice Center have won local, state and national praise.
The Arts Council of Snohomish County celebrates and promotes the arts for the enhancement of the community.
