I paint on reclaimed plywood cut into a shape. I combine hand painting and airbrush and usually use acrylics. Inspiration tends to crawl up my pant leg when least expected, from spontaneous silliness to quantum physics to kitchen utensils to local idiosyncrasies to laundromats to my view of the Snohomish River to animals' and children's issues to hardware and bowling balls. The world seems to operate on a silliness deficit, so I'm trying to fill it. I've shown my work in and around Seattle, Portland, the Oregon Coast, Everett and Snohomish.
