Opportunities for Artists 2009-2010
The Arts Council of Snohomish County is accepting submissions for the 2010 Fresh Paint Festival Poster.
The Arts Council is commissioning an artist to create a piece for use as the 2010 Fresh Paint festival poster. The selected artist will receive a $750
commission and a free booth space at Fresh Paint 2010. Applications are due by 5pm, February 12, 2010 and must include your name, address,
phone, email, 3 examples of your artwork (preferably jpg format), and an explanation and/or sketch of your idea for the poster image. The selected
submission will reflect this unique waterfront festival. Application materials will not be returned. Send submissions to:

Kids Create
Is currently seeking instructors for their Monroe Public Schools' creativity conference to be held on March 20, 2010 at the Monroe High School.
This annual art and creativity workshop is for students in kindergarten through seventh grade and offers a wide variety of classes in art, science, drama, dance, music

Edmonds Community College
The Edmonds Community College Center for Families has been awarded “seed funding” to initiate a project titled “Art for Kids”. The outcome of the project is to
provide early learners (3-6 year olds) with an opportunity to be exposed to pieces of art. The project committee is currently inviting artists who use sculpture, fabric, weaving,

Artists will be juried and notified of the results by email. Do not send payment until you have been accepted. The Arts Council reserves the right to edit content.
To keep the setup fee low, only electronic materials will be accepted.
The setup fee pays for adding your name with one image of your work, a brief biography, and contact information. You are encouraged to include an email address. The listing also includes one link to a website, if available. This may be your own website or one where your work can be seen (such as a gallery website).
Send your biography and contact information in an email or attach it to the email as a Word (.doc), text only (.txt) or rich text format (.rtf). Also attach the image as a jpeg, tif or psd file. Do not send slides, photographs or other materials. Send the email to:
