Honors to be awarded to Snohomish Country's most talented young artists in The Scholastic Art Awards of 2010

Scholastic Art Awards Exhibit & Ceremony:

The Arts Council of Snohomish County is proud to present The Scholastic Art Awards of 2010. This program gives thousands of students throughout America the opportunity to broaden their creative horizons while earning local and national recognition. The objective is to foster the confidence of young artists and give them the opportunity to be recognized for their creative achievements by the world at large. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards were founded in 1923, and have become the nation’s largest and longest running program of its kind.

Public recognition will be given at The Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony.

Time: Beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The public is also invited to attend The Scholastic Art Awards Exhibit opening reception on the same evening.

Saturday & Sunday, February 27 & 28, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Monday, March 1, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. ONLY

After the exhibit, American Vision Best of Show and Gold Key artwork will be sent in digital form to New York for the National Scholastic Art Awards program.

Registration for the Scholastic Art Awards will be available online starting Oct. 1, 2009 at http://registration.artandwriting.org.

Application and entry deadline: January 12, 2010, 2-5 p.m. at the Culmback Building, 3013 Colby Ave.
A $5 processing fee per piece is required.
